Brgy. Kauswagan Awarded as "Most Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa" for 6 Consecutive Years

For six consecutive years, Brgy Kauswagan bags the Best Lupon Tagapamayapa from the nine (9) barangay nominees in the city receiving a plaque of recognition and a cash prize of P11,000 from the local government unit in Cagayan de Oro.

These nine barangays met the criteria set by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) with a rating of not less than 80 percent with the objective of having more barangay disputes amicably settled resulting to decongestion of court cases and in promoting harmonious relationship among its constituents.

Brgy Gusa won the second place with a plaque and P9,000 cash prize; Brgy Camaman-an landed third place with a plaque and P7,000 cash prize.

Brgy Agusan, Patag, Canitoan, Bayabas, Nazareth and Bugo completed the nine nominees each receiving a Palque of Recognition during MOnday's flag raising ceremony.
