City Public Library Being Demolished to Make Way for the Construction of the New 5-storey Building


Remember that old City Public Library building in Cagayan de Oro City? 80's down to the olden days' students used to hang out and study there.

That old building is the witness of how students in the olden days of Cagayan de Oro research about their assignments and projects without the use of computers or internet. They are the masters of the Dewey Decimal System and how they love the smell of books.

That is why most book sniffing nerds are those kids in the 80's down to the olden days. They love the process of looking for the books that they need inside the library. It is a sanctuary place for people who wants to focus on reading or studying because the place is quiet.



Today, that old building is already being demolished, but worry not because it is to make way for the construction of the new 5-storey building including the modern CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY, the office of the Girl Scout of the Philippines and additional 52 classrooms for the City Central School.
