Last April 26, 2017, the Mindanao Leg of the 2017 PBA All-Star game was held in Xavier University here in Cagayan de Oro. Played between PBA All-Stars Mindanao Team and PBA Gilas Pilipinas.
PBA All-Stars Mindanao Team are: Cyrus Baguio, Glenn Khobuntin, Jio Jalalon, Troy Rosario, Mark Barroca, Scottie Thompson, PJ Simon, Rafi Reavis, Moala Tautuaa, Sonny Thoss, Carlo Lastimosa and Baser Amer.
The PBA Gilas Piipinas Team are: Terrence Romeo, LA Revilla, Mike Tolomia, RR Pogoy, Matthew Wright, Kevin Ferrer, Carl Bryan Cruz, Alfonso Gotladera, Bradwyn Guinto and June Mar Fajardo.
