LGU CDO has already started the strict implementation of ‘No Vaccine, No Entry’ in indoor venues and establishments in this city based on the guidelines issued by the national IATF in accordance with the Alert Level system.
Accordingly, Mayor Oscar Moreno signed Executive Order No. 144-2021 governing law enforcement units under the City COVID 19 Response Team.
Under the said executive order, all enforcement units of the Law and Order Cluster, government agencies including COCPO, Regulatory and Compliance Board, Disiplina Muna Advocacy Team, Incident Management Team, Tourism office, barangay chairmen and tanods are allowed to conduct an inspection on vaccination cards when entering indoor venues, establishments and offices.
The Emergency Operation Center will immediately submit inspection reports and Local IATF for appropriate action and imposition of fines if necessary.
Mayor Moreno’s order was launched last December 9 to tighten enforcement of the laws enforced by the national IATF. (SPP/CIO)
