Present weather:
At 3:00AM today, the center of tropical storm "AURING" was estimated based on all available data at 460KM East Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur with maximum sustained winds of 75 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 90km/h. It is almost stationary.
Forecast 12-hour rainfall: Light to moderate rains and thunderstorms
Watercourses likely to be affected:
Misamis Occidental - rivers and its tributaries particularly Clarin, Palilan and Aloran.
Lanao del Norte - rivers and its tributaries particularly Mandulog, Agus, Liangan and Maranding.
Camiguin - All rivers and its tributaries.
Bukidnon - rivers and its tributaries particularly upper Tagoloan and upper/eastern Cagayan.
Misamis Oriental - rivers and its tributaries particularly Odiongan, Gingoog, Balatukan, Cabulig, Lower Tagoloan, Lower/Middle Western Cagayan, Iponan and Alubijid.
People living near the mountains slopes and in low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the Local Disaster Reduction and Management Councils concerned are still advised to take neccessary pracautionary measures.
