Globe Telecom and PLDT Inc. on Friday reported disruption of their mobile and internet services in some areas in Visayas and Mindanao due to Typhoon Odette.

PLDT customers in Mindanao may experience disruption in internet services due to multiple fiber cable breaks caused by typhoon #OdettePH. Teams have been deployed to work on the restoration.

Globe said their customers in the affected areas experienced difficulty in using Gcash Buy Load, AMAX, Share-a-Load, Promo registration and Emergency Load Services due to outages caused by multiple fiber cuts and the lack of commercial power.
