Nikki de Moura has been frequently seen around Cagayan de Oro's Fashion scenes and other events since last year. She has the looks, the body, the poise and wit of a beauty queen, that is why she was chosen as one of the 3 equally beautiful young ladies to represent Northern Mindanao for Miss Teen Philippines 2019. The other 2 representatives of NorthMin are Kamyll Pla who is also representing CDO and Francine Gamboa who represents Valencia City.
Last night at New Frontier Theater in Quezon City, Nikki de Moura bested the other 30 aspirants from different parts of the Philippines to become the latest ambassador for teenagers in promoting "global readiness through education", as she won 2019 Miss Teen Philippines!

The first ever Miss Teen Philippines winner is also from Cagayan de Oro City - Miss Stephanie Sol who is now a commercial model and actress, and another winner from CDO of the same title in 2007 is Maxine Monasterio, who was also a model and a TV host of ABS-CBN Northern Mindanao.
